Product Description

This model Halifax from the Atlantis Series has a wood planked hull to build. This model comes with fittings, sails and tools necessary for its implementation. The Halifax was bought by the English Government in 1768. She is a schooner and was very active during the troop transports which docked at Boston in 1775. She rose to fame with the fire at Falmouth, New Portland, Maine in 1776, the year of the American Revolution. Following this action commanded by Henry Mowatt, the entire East Coast of the United States rose against the British.

The kit is all-rib-no-sail structure, and the whole length for the ship model is 420mm, the hight is 122mm, and width is 110mm, with six 4-pound-cannon, and the kit is comparably easy to make. As Halifax is not so big and not so difficult to make, it is quite suitable for the entry level fans to make, of course, you have to acquire some ship model making knowledge.
